Excuse the lame photography. I don’t handle SLR’s well. :)
Just thought I’d share my little “project” that I’ve been working on for the past couple of hours (just because I like procrastinating on school work).
Finally made a decent container/stand for my makeup brushes! I used to place them on different beads and stuff but found the beads to be a little too big for the ends of the brushes to thrust into the container. I thought about using rice (as in bigas) but ants get attracted to that. Coffee beans were also a valid option but we didn’t have those. So the most feasible alternative that I went with was to put mongo/munggo seeds to hold the brushes upright. It’s absolutely genius and not to mention, inexpensive!
So what I did was fill about 80% of the plastic container (which is just a normal disposable plastic container, by the way) with the seeds. The brushes slide into the seeds really easily so that is awesomeee. Glue-gunned a little ribbon with my name on it around the container for an added pa-cute effect et voila!
